David has over 30 years’ experience as a technical architect, developer, and manager. Early in his career, he focused on building financial trading systems at Morgan Stanley in New York. With the advent of the Internet, David’s focus turned to web application development for a number of Silicon Valley startups.
David has spent the last eight years focusing on Scholarly Journal solutions. As a Director of Technology at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, David created the architecture and managed the development of cloud-based services for the digital offering of Science Magazine, and the Science family of journals.
David launched Pubmill in 2020 with a focus on JATS analysis, conversion, journal production tracking solutions, and journal platform vendor integration.
David resides in the DC Metro Area with his wife and three children.
